Fire Thief is a six core member ensemble of flexible instrumentation led by composer and instrumentalist, Devin Clara Fanslow. Dedicated to pop-contemporary classical crossover music, Fire Thief’s aesthetics draw from jazz, folk, progressive rock, and video game inspired chamber sounds. Especially concerning video game music, the ensemble is primed towards lending its sound to an ongoing game prototype, of which, an increasingly robust arsenal of small chamber pieces are added to its repertoire on a continuous basis.
